Karl Quiney (100) Dan Bassett (46) and a corruscating 71 not out from 34 balls, including 8 x 4’s and 4 x 6’s from Liam Hughes enabled Wombourne to declare on 322 for six, after 51 overs before Steven Howard stepped up to take 5 for 65 as Evesham crumbled to 170 all out. Tom Underhill (57) and Ian Suckling (38) played well for Evesham while young left-arm spinner Matt Briggs shone for Wombourne with 3 for 30.
